Otjimanangombe to Construct Culverts

01 August 2022 - Otjimangombe village on a site visit with the community representatives accompanied by the Road Authority Inspector Mr Sagarias. Mr Sagarias took measurements for the construction of culverts to aid motorist and passengers to easily cross omuramba during rainy season.

NamRA Conducts Information-sharing Session in Epukiro

27 July 2022 - NamRA was in Epukiro Constituency from 26 to 27 July 2022 to share tax-related information for individuals and businesses. Businesses and individuals were assisted to register for tax in order to obtain certificates of good standing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Councillors Engage NBC Omurari FM Listeners

10 June 2022 - Regional Councillors Packy Pakarae, Wenzel Kavaka, Peter Kazongominja and Rocco Nguvauva accompanied by the Chief Regional Officer, Pecka Semba, engaged listeners of NBC Omurari FM on the planning workshop held from 06 to 10 June 2022 and on developmental initiatives within their conusituencies.

 

 

 

 

Epukiro Constituency Office Engages Epukiro Youth Forum

26 May 2022 - Epukiro Constituency Office with some members of the Constituency Development Committee had a consultative meeting with Epukiro Youth Forum. The meeting discussed an envisaged Youth Week scheduled for 29 August - 04 September 2022. The Youth Week aims to disseminate relevant information to the youth for their upliftment and participation in socioeconomic developmental interventions and projects.

 

 

 

 

Epukiro Constituency Office and Epukiro Sports Council

19 May 2022 - Epukiro Constituency Office and Epukiro Sports Council (ESC) had an initial meeting on 19 May 2022 at Epukiro Post 3. ESC briefed the Constituency Development Committee members present on their election outcomes; new members with their portfolios; planned Constitution Amendment meeting on 18 Jun 2022; Epukiro Tournaments; and the importance of having sports facilities/complex at Post 3, amongst many other issues.

Both parties agreed to present annual reports to the community at appropriate times.  The meeting was concluded by a presentation on Epukiro Constituency Transformational Strategy Map as future developmental blueprint. A harmonious spirit of common interest was created and affirmed to by both parties. The meeting distilled unity and focus on youth empowerment as of significance for the next generation.

Eastern Epukiro Farmers Association Holds 6th Congress

14 May 2022 - Eastern Epukiro Farmers Association (EEFA) held its 6th Congress on 14 May 2022. Omaheke Regional Farmers Union representative, Sir Lesley Kauandara, described the Congress as the most disciplined and well organised with a perfect rhythm and comprehensive reports in recent times.

Epukiro Acquires Village Name Plates

10 May 2022 - Epukiro Constituency has acquired 94 village name plates to ease navigation by visitors. The name plates will be erected by youth volunteers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Epukiro Constituency Office Visits Homestead Accommodating Children in Need

04 May 2022 - Epukiro Constituency Office accompanied by the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare Representative Esra Kawetu; Settlement Office; Jazema Kao; Constituency Development Committee member Lucky Tjozongoro and Seun Murangi visited a homestead of an elder Natalie Kavetu at Ombujombandje.

The homestead accommodates close to 20 children who have no food to eat on a daily basis. The delegation provided bags of maize, sugar and other commoditites while exploring other support alternatives.
